FAIRFIELD — Halle Klaiber defied the odds by essentially ignoring them.

The recent Badin High School graduate was told her senior softball season probably wouldn’t happen after tearing the meniscus in her left knee last October, but she chose to bear down and attack the rehabilitation process in an effort
