‘We did big things for a small town’ … Carlisle still proud after more D-III regional heartbreak

CENTERVILLE — The dream ending didn’t materialize for Carlisle High School’s softball team. Indeed, it was a lot more of the same familiar heartbreak.

An eight-member senior class posted a four-year record of 96-12, but the Indians had to wipe away the tears last week at Centerville after falling
