NEW RICHMOND — Greg Stitzel could see a bright future through the disappointment.

Badin High School’s softball team got ousted from the Division II postseason with a 5-0 district semifinal loss at top-seeded New Richmond on Tuesday, finishing 17-8 with a roster that included just one senior (Halle Klaiber).
