Carlisle handles Shawnee for fourth straight D-III district title, hopes to end regional-semifinal futility

LEBANON — Carlisle High School’s eight seniors have known nothing but Southwestern Buckeye League championships, Division III district crowns and regional-semifinal heartbreak during their time in the CHS softball program.

The titles have been great. But the Indians believe the time has come to extinguish some of the misery.
