Hamilton bounced back strong last year and wants to sustain success: ‘We’re ready to prove ourselves’

HAMILTON — Hamilton High School’s softball team returned to prominence last season, posting a 17-8 record and competing for a Greater Miami Conference championship while finishing third.

Veteran coach Steve Heckman said it was a great run for multiple reasons, including the fact that he needed the shot of joy
