LOVELAND — Kensie Black was happy to play a key role in Franklin High School’s girls basketball resurgence this season.

Matt Abshear’s Wildcats ended the 2023-24 campaign with a 9-15 record after a 79-32 Division II district semifinal loss to defending state champion Purcell Marian last week at Loveland
