HAMILTON — Hamilton High School’s boys basketball team proved to be a championship denier Friday night, and it felt like a pretty good reason to celebrate.

Lakota West came to the Hamilton Athletic Center looking for at least a share of its first Greater Miami Conference title since 2012-13, but
