Edgewood batters Butler County rival Talawanda for first win of the year, hopes to build off momentum

OXFORD — It was the perfect time for Edgewood High School’s football team to shift into high gear.

The Cougars and longtime rival Talawanda were winless heading into Friday’s showdown at THS, so somebody had to win. And Edgewood clearly was the force on this night.
