Talawanda makes transition by promoting Sams to top spot: ‘I feel really good about what we’re doing’

OXFORD — Kelsey Sams is enjoying a smooth transition into the head coaching position in Talawanda High School’s girls soccer program.

She was an assistant coach under Brian Clark the last three seasons, but when Clark stepped down to focus on his daughter Ainsley’s senior season at Thomas More
