Copenhaver looks strong in return to action as No. 1 Badin blanks Kenton Ridge to grab D-II district title

ARCANUM — Nik Copenhaver was back in a familiar position Thursday, standing on the mound and throwing shutout baseball.

It was just another sign that the state’s top-ranked Division II team will be difficult to stop in its quest for the program’s first state championship since 1996.
