Hamilton routs Badin in regular-season finale, but both teams hope to make some noise in tournament

HAMILTON — Steve Heckman will always remember 2023 as a special season for his Hamilton High School softball team, regardless of how things go in the Division I tournament.

Heckman endured enough difficult years to know what special feels like, and Big Blue completed a 15-7 regular season Saturday afternoon by overpowering
