Fairfield’s title hopes get shut down as Oak Hills rebounds from first loss to repeat as GMC champion

FAIRFIELD — There was a bright side for Fairfield High School’s softball team, even on a difficult day to see it.

The Indians’ goal of winning their first Greater Miami Conference championship since 2014 went by the wayside Thursday as visiting Oak Hills claimed the title with a 7-0 victory at
