Monroe off to great start, despite taking first defeat of the season against New Jersey squad in Florida

BAY LAKE, Fla. — The first loss of the season didn’t figure to have a debilitating effect on Monroe High School’s baseball team.

The Hornets loved their time in Florida playing at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, so while Thursday’s 12-2, five-inning defeat at the hands
