ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP — Edgewood High School’s softball team enjoyed a season-opening victory Wednesday.

It wasn’t a season opener in the traditional sense. After all, the Cougars did play at Carlisle on Tuesday and walked off the field behind 8-4 on the scoreboard. But it was only the fourth
