Badin nearly squanders four-run lead, but holds off Oak Hills to secure season-opening 4-3 triumph

HAMILTON — It wasn’t the ultra-smooth finish that Aiden Van De Hatert was looking for, but the job got done.

The senior left-hander slammed the door with a bases-loaded strikeout in the top of the seventh inning Sunday afternoon as Badin High School’s baseball team, a Division II state
