BEAVERCREEK — Trey Lambert was hoping to make a little more Monroe High School boys bowling history Thursday at Beaver-Vu Bowl.

The Hornets made their first-ever Division I district tournament appearance as a team and came agonizingly close to getting their first state qualifier, but Lambert finished 13 pins away from the
