Fairfield sets the pace and uses its defense to handle St. Xavier, earn spot in D-I district finals

UNION TOWNSHIP — Fairfield High School boys basketball coach D.J. Wyrick said the keys to victory Friday night were simple.

“We wanted to defend and we wanted to play up-tempo,” he said. 

Check both the boxes for the Indians, who throttled St. Xavier on one end while running freely
