Matthews directs the season-opening victory charge for Hamilton in first-ever clash with city rival Badin

HAMILTON — Cooper Matthews loved the atmosphere and the history-making experience Saturday night inside the Hamilton Athletic Center.

It was the first-ever meeting of Hamilton High School and Badin in boys basketball and the scoreboard fell in favor of host HHS by a 51-41 margin, with Matthews scoring 20 points in season-opening
