CARLISLE — The progress of Carlisle High School’s football program is obvious, even as the quest for its first winning season since 2017 continues.

Senior linebacker Trent Saylor can remember when he entered the program as a freshman. The Indians were coming off an 0-10 season in 2018, and they would go
