Badin reaches the top of the D-II mountain, outlasts GCL Coed rival Carroll for first state championship

PICKERINGTON — The dream is to deliver the championship-winning kill and then end up in a euphoric dogpile on the court. Eli Halverson lived it Sunday afternoon.

There was nothing left to do but celebrate when Halverson, a senior outside hitter, put the ball down and secured Badin High School’s
