FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield High School softball team didn’t mind the grind Wednesday in Division I sectional action.

Visiting Talawanda made the Indians work for it, but the Tribe were up to the task, getting key hits and solid defense behind fantastic pitching from Ryleigh Peters in a 4-0 win
