FAIRBORN — Franklin High School’s stay in the Division I softball postseason was brief, but there are still things to play for.

The Wildcats remain alive in their quest to earn a share of the Southwestern Buckeye League East Division championship after suffering a 9-4 sectional loss to Fairborn on
