Monroe trending upward after road win over Oakwood; Bemis goes deep and provides closing mound work

OAKWOOD — Monroe High School’s baseball team is starting to make a few waves in its quest to officially get back to winning.

The Hornets haven’t had a winning season since 2018, but they’ve started a surge in that direction.

Monroe went 4-1 this week and capped it off
