Mound ace Campbell eager to lead senior-heavy Fairfield, which has high hopes for the 2022 season

FAIRFIELD — Fairfield High School pitcher Kayden Campbell mulled the question for a brief second before letting out a hearty laugh.

“Man, I was not good as a freshman, just not that good,” Campbell said in response to how much he has grown as a player in his four years playing
