Wayne proves to be too strong as Franklin’s season comes to an end with D-I district semifinal defeat

CENTERVILLE — For the second straight year, the postseason began with a promising win for Franklin High School’s boys basketball team, only to have it come to an abrupt end in the next round.

Last year, the Wildcats earned their first-ever Division I playoff victory by defeating Stebbins, then lost
