SHARONVILLE — Monroe High School’s new boys basketball season had a rousing start Saturday night.

The Hornets lost 15 of their last 18 games in the regular season and struggled to a last-place finish in the Southwestern Buckeye League East Division, but they’re 1-0 in Division II sectional play after knocking
