Fairfield survives late Wayne surge and Woods has a big all-around performance as Indians win 71-70

FAIRFIELD — A late rally by visiting Huber Heights Wayne High School’s boys basketball team forced Fairfield to take it off cruise control and go into survival mode as the host Indians held on for a 71-70 win Thursday night at the Fairfield Arena.

Fairfield (8-1) built a 15-point halftime
