HAMILTON — Henry Birchwell was grateful that he didn’t have time to think about it.

As Badin High School teammate Kyle Stevenson sat on the turf injured at McNicholas in the Greater Catholic League Coed Division football championship game, Birchwell was quickly shaken out of it when the ball was
