Badin’s Mathews sets school record in 19th-place D-II state showing; Talawanda’s Lippincott 64th in D-I

OBETZ — Freshman Abby Mathews did what no other Badin High School girls cross country runner has ever done.

She broke the 19-minute mark to set a new school record and did it while competing in the Division II state meet on Saturday at Fortress Obetz.
