MONROE — Monroe High School’s football team took a tough exit from the Division III, Region 12 playoffs Friday night.

The Hornets will savor the memories from the 2021 season, with its first winning record since 2015 and its first Southwestern Buckeye League championship since 2009. But they came up a little short against
