Jackson rumbles to another big night, takes off for late touchdown to lift Monroe past Carlisle 24-21

CARLISLE — Monroe High School’s football team won with its workhorse Friday night.

Junior fullback Elijah Jackson rumbled for 246 yards on 21 carries and ripped off three long touchdown runs, including a 60-yarder with 2:53 remaining, as the Hornets went on the road and rallied past upset-minded Carlisle 24-21 at Laughlin Field
