FAIRFIELD — It was a summer friendly with some rivalry flavor.

Fairfield High School’s boys soccer team defeated visiting Badin 5-2 in a scrimmage Wednesday afternoon at Christy Rose Dennis Memorial Stadium in a matchup of squads filled with optimism about the 2021 season.
