GREEN TOWNSHIP — It was a painful lesson that Fairfield High School’s boys basketball team has carried into the offseason.

The Indians won the Greater Miami Conference championship several months ago, their first title since 2013-14. And that was good.

But when Fairfield went one-and-done in the Division I postseason
