Historic Carlisle season ends with regional loss to Johnstown-Monroe: ‘We have a lot to be proud of’

FAIRBORN — Carlisle High School’s 2021 softball season was a special time that Erin Ridinger and Abby Goodpaster will remember forever. So they don’t plan to let a painful ending darken their memories.

The Indians made their sixth regional appearance — and their first since 2009 — Wednesday evening at Wright State University
