Carlisle ousted in first round of D-III sectional, strands runners everywhere in loss at Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG — Carlisle High School’s baseball team had so many chances to score Wednesday that one big hit might have opened the floodgates.

Alas, it didn’t happen.

The Indians found heartache instead, stranding 12 runners and finishing the season with a five-game losing streak as they dropped a 2-0 decision
