Hamilton finishes above .500 for first time since 2016, but sectional loss to West Clermont stings

UNION TOWNSHIP — Steve Heckman laughed, shook his head, then laughed again and just stared at the scoreboard Wednesday evening. 

The longtime Hamilton High School softball coach had watched his team battle for seven innings at No. 6 seed West Clermont, but the 13th-seeded Big Blue fell short 3-2 in Division
