Rare defensive meltdown leads to the end of Badin’s win streak as Mercy McAuley rolls

HAMILTON — Badin High School’s softball team has been so good defensively this season that veteran coach Greg Stitzel admitted he didn’t see Saturday’s performance coming.

The Rams only had four errors in their first seven games, but they equaled that amount in the third inning alone against
