SEASON PREVIEW: Fairfield plans to compete for GMC title with a group of talented veterans

FAIRFIELD — Fairfield High School’s baseball team used a number of young players two years ago, unaware that the 2020 season would be canceled by the coronavirus pandemic.

That experience figures to pay dividends in 2021 for the Indians, who plan to compete for their first Greater Miami Conference title since 2016.
