FAIRFIELD — Caleb Smith was so good at the Division I district boys bowling tournament that he didn’t have a clear memory of his previous best effort.

The Ross High School junior rolled a 257-210-223–690 series last week at Beaver-Vu Bowl, a pin collection that earned him a trip
