One win from state: Badin edges Hartley in D-II regional thriller, earns Round 3 with Carroll

SPRINGFIELD — The postseason push has brought Badin High School’s girls basketball team to the brink of the Division II state tournament.

Difficult opponents and nine defeats filled the Rams’ regular-season slate, which served its purpose nicely.

“We kept telling the girls the regular season’s all preseason,” Badin coach
