Disability & determination: Monroe’s Thomas thrives on the mat despite physical challenges

MONROE — Caleb Thomas started wrestling when he was 4 years old. The Monroe High School senior said he even has some memories of that time.

His father Shawn, who’s also the Hornets’ head coach, remembers it too. And he’s got video proof of the event.
