MADISON TOWNSHIP — Madison High School’s girls basketball team will have some time to ponder its strong showing on opening night.

The host Mohawks stormed to a 40-point first half and throttled Butler County rival Monroe 57-44 on Friday, then found out immediately after the season opener that all Madison
