Freshman Deaton nets hat trick as Monroe handles Fenwick, advances to district finals

KETTERING — Sarah Deaton provided some first-half fireworks Tuesday night as Monroe High School’s girls soccer team rolled to a Division II district semifinal victory over Fenwick.

The freshman tallied three goals to collect her first varsity hat trick for the second-seeded Hornets, who rolled past the No. 5 Falcons 5-
