COLLEGE WATCH: An update on eight Monroe athletes and how they’re performing at the next level

Mount St. Joseph University’s baseball team had a pair of Monroe High School graduates making solid contributions to a 4-6-1 spring season.

Senior utility player Roman Rothwell led the Lions in triples (two) and RBIs (13) while hitting .325 with four doubles and a home run.
