MIDDLETOWN — Emma Miller’s season is on the upswing, thanks to the power of positive reinforcement.

The Fairfield High School junior guard is a first-year varsity player who averaged 2.5 points through the first 13 games. But she’s reached double figures in her last two appearances and helped the Indians earn
