Monroe hits the road and puts an end to two-game losing streak with run-rule triumph over Fairborn

FAIRBORN — It was a nonleague victory with a little more importance for Monroe High School’s baseball team.

The Hornets wanted to end a two-game losing streak and accomplished that goal after a slow start Thursday, going on the road and rolling past Fairborn 15-4 in six innings.
